Tea in the Garden: Tea, Bulbs and Blooms

When it comes time for spring planting do you ever stop to ask yourself what is the difference between a bulb, corm, rhizome, and a tuber, or the difference between an annual and a perennial?  In horticultural terms how is a flush defined?  These questions will be answered in the context of tea as both a plant growing in a garden and as a drink we consume.  Tea in the Garden: Tea, Bulbs & Blooms will go underground or behind the scenes below the soil line to look at workings of plants with special focus on the tea plant.  We all appreciate the beauty of flowers as they first bloom but we also need to have a general idea of what is going on underground so we can get those big blooms.  If you love tea but are also curious about bulbs and blooms, dig in and enjoy the book!
