I love gardening and everything related to it! Its my passion and I enjoy nothing more than walking around the property looking at the plants with a hot cup of tea.  This inspired me to combine gardening and tea together and I soon realized there are many connections between the plants I grow and the teas I enjoy drinking.  

I share these connections in my 10 Tea in the Garden books. The books are well researched and have lots of pictures of teas and plants from my over 20 years of gardening experience.

I am also very inspired by the world around me and living in Mowat Bay, Powell River is nothing short of extraordinary!   The region on the west coast of British Columbia and has both ocean and lakes just minutes away. Trail walking is a very relaxing way to get out and see nature.

Completing Tea Sommelier courses at Vancouver Community College

Developing and teaching tea courses at the University of the Fraser Valley

BC Council of Garden Clubs speaker for 7 years where I shared various Power Point presentations with garden clubs throughout British Columbia

On the executive board of the Maple Ridge Garden Club for 10 years, newsletter editor and an active member for 18 years.

Member of the Powell River Garden Club 

Lilac Hill is my third garden created from the ground up.
